Willys Jeepster 1950 Description
Up for auction is a Barn Find 1950 Willys Jeepster. I'm listing this Jeepster for a friend who has had the car for several years. It was found in a barn in eastern Washington, and always a Washington car, last licensed in 1974.He was going to make a street rod or restore it,but with his health problems he has decided to sale. This Jeepsterwas stored away in 1974, yes over 42 years.Itdid havea engineswap some time in it lifeto a Ford 289 V8 and C4 Transmission. The engine is stuck and will not turn over. I tried with a good battery withits own starter but itwillnot turn, The owner said it ran 5 year ago.Very nice body with only a couple of flaws. The car has had one repaint in the red color over the original Black body. (lots of black showing through.)The drivers door has a crack at the top next to the wing vent window, and a rustbubble at the front bottom of the door about 2" long. The hoodhas a dent in the front top passenger side very small, and thereare two small dents on the driver side rear by the tail light.(please look at pictured closely) The rest of the body is verynicewith no rust, even the lower door sills and under the rear deck are nice. The front floor pans do have rust through under the foot aria. No rust behind the front seat in the passenger floor ariaor in the rear pans behind the rear seat. This Jeep has a old firewall mounted heater under the dash and radio on drivers side dash. The original top is intact but in need of replacement, but all bows and latches are very good. It has the original side curtains and Curtain frames, but as you can see by the pictures, the side curtains all need replaced, frames are good. This is a project, Hot Rod or Restoration not running, and will need to be transported. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can. I will take all question to the owner. For your questions please call or e-mail Bill (208)750-0000
