This 1940 Willys coupe was raced for years in the northeastern U.S. and Canada. How many all steel Willys gassers do you see? This car ran consistent mid 9 second quarter miles in it's racing heyday running a hemi. The car is now a very nice driving street legal car sporting a small block Chevy. Car runs and drives excellent. This cars name was Gone Berserk. All decals have been removed other than the A/G decal on the pillar posts. Car is wearing grey primer like it did back in it's glory days on the race track.
Power is transferred to the 9 inch ford rear end which has 3:88 gears and 31 spline axles via a TH350 transmission. Car features a new gas tank and wiring and was originally a U.S. car brought to Canada a few years ago. Car has clear title and Polaroids showing the build of the car. Still wears it's original 1940 Willys VIN plate. All windows in car are glass, not plexi. Car is available localle so auction may be ended at any time.
