Willys FC-170 1961 Description
Meet “Spud†he is a 1961 Willys Jeep FC 170 4x4 turned into a service truck. He has had some cool upgrades which will be explained in this add. I bought him from the 2nd owner whom owned it since 1974. He has lived in the high desert farm land of eastern Oregon his whole life. He runs and drives great, needs cosmetics to take it to the next level. I’ve driven Spud 50 miles up to 65MPH without any struggle, buzzes right along. Please watch the entire video and view all the pictures, they are part of the description. All the extra parts in the pics and video are included.

MECHANICAL
Converted to a high performance Chevy small block 327 with camel hump heads and HEI ignition. Radaiator out front with electric fans on a thermostat. Dual side pipes (there are minor exhaust leaks around the flex tubes under the cab). T-98 4 speed manual transmission, 2H 4H 4L transfer case, front axle is a ¾ ton Dana 44, rear is ¾ ton full floater Dana 60, both 4.10 geared. Electric start gas powered 15HP air compressor, Oxy/Ace tank holders.
BODY
Minimal rust, service box from a BNSF truck, VIN tag intact and where it should be, frame looks good. Really can’t point out every flaw on Spud, please view all the pics and determine condition for yourself.
I will sell the truck for $7,500 to the 1st local or long distance buyer willing to pay for it. I’ve sold a lot of cars on eBay, ½ the time the buyer does not come through and eBay does not return fees, so after loosing thousands over the years, I go with the 1st guy/gal that pays for the truck. I accept bank to bank wire transfer to my US Bank business account or cash in person only. I have a clear/clean OR state title in hand. I have an excellent shipping broker whom I can put you in contact with. The truck and papers only leave my property when payment is made in full and cleared. I’m a licensed vintage auto appraiser, I find no offense in you hiring someone like me to inspect this truck during not after the auction. Thanks!
