Buick Regal 1983 Description
I am the Second owner of this car. I have owned it since 1995. It has not been driven in the winter or rain since 2000. In 2005 the car wascompletely redone. I had the car professionally repainted (door jams and all).Prior to painting, he body was in overall good condition with very little rust in the normal areas. Anything that required attention was repaired at that time. I also added the '87 front clip,T-Type/Grand National hood and rear spoiler. New door seals were installed at this time. We also installed a 383 Stroker and TH350 transmission thatwere purchased used but checked out good by a professional mechanic. The car runs as it should. Torque Thrust rims were added measuring 17x8 rear and 16x7 front with new tires all around. Sometime in the past someone drilled a hole in the floor pan near the transmission tunnel on the drivers side which allowed water to enter and damage the drivers side front pan. We cut it out patched the holes and welded it back in. It functions properly but If I could go back I would replace it with a new one only because its looks a little ruff. After the floor repairs were made we shot POR 15 (paint over rust) over the entire chassis, nd floor paninside the car. Aside from that ugly drivers side front floor pan the body is in beautiful condition. All of this work was done so I could drive the car on my wedding day as I always said I would. It was a dream come true. Anyway life happened, ids came and we basically never drove it again. We maybe put 2000 miles on it after all the work was complete, nd then the car was put away till now. Storage was very kind to my old car. The only defect I can spot is the original rear bumper isgetting thin in one spot. Its hard to see but can be seen in one picture. Examine the pictures and make your own judgment. I did also replace the outer window felts after getting it out of storage. It looks like it was painted yesterday. Its 2015 now and I have new dreams so its time for this car to find a new home where it can be enjoyed as it should. If Shipping is required it is the responsibility of the buyer but I can beavailable to help load it. Nowarranty expressed or implied. All sales final. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as the car will be for sale locally as well. Thanks for looking.
