Cadillac Series 61 Fastback Sedan 1941 Description

1941 CADILLAC Series 61 Torpedo/Fastback Sedan that spent 17years in a museum prior to my purchase in 2011. Beautiful well preserved original wood grain dash and window moldings, riginal interior chrome very nice,seats recently reupholstered in correct style/wool cord fabric. Prof. rebuilt carburetor original fuel pump w/ethanol-resistant seals. (There is an electric fuel pump installed but haven't needed to use it). New gas tank/lines. Completely rebuilt brake system with stainless lines, ew wheel cylinders, ebuilt master cylinder. 4 wheel inner/outer wheel bearings and seals replaced.Newer wide whitewalltires (2011). New exhaust 2012.Presentable older lacquer repaint. Firewall and door jams original paint. Overall not perfect but runs smooth and cruises niceat 60mph. I have logged approx. 1200 miles (doesn't use any oil). Front/rear bumpers and guards recently triple chrome show quality replated. Original AM radio was servicedbutunable to receive stations - it isfitted with a jack for ipod or MP3 play thru the speaker ( I play Glen Miller at car shows). I will include new roll of period correct tan wool carpet(LeBaron Bonney $400) to be installed. The NOS Fulton SunShield in the 1stphotocan be included and negotiatedin the sale if you like the look (I purchased this in 2013 in the original sealed 1949 box). Car located 1 hour west of Chicago.
