Cadillac DeVille 1979 Description

WHAT A BEAUTY! Turn heads while cruising in comfort. This vintage collector car available as part of an estate sale. Garage kept, only 67,811 actual miles. Ice cold A/C, leather interior, and drives 100%. Mechanically sound with full functioning electrical accessories – everything works! Hard to part with this family inherited vehicle, but I am confident there is a home that will provide proper TLC.

A CLASSIC: The 1977 – 1979 Cadillac with the 425-cid V8 engine and rear wheel drive are considered to be the last, great traditional Cadillac. These cars are known for excellent reliability, solid construction, comfort, and fuel economy. These are superb “touring” cars and highly recommended collectible Cadillacs that are far better than the cars that followed for many years.

OPTIONS: Locking spoke hub caps, sun roof, exterior temperature gauge, turn signal inset on front fenders, key ‘puddle’ lights, sentinel side lights, rear defog, hidden antennae, motorized trunk latch. Paint with pin striping, chrome trim, lenses, reflectors and badging in very good condition.

ROAD RELIABLE: Steering and brakes in very good condition. Tire wear approx. 50%. No noises from squeaky belts, transmission or suspension system. Small transmission leak common for this model with irregular driving. No under body rust. Small piece missing from rear panel filler (passenger side). Small ripple in rear bumper.

INTERIOR: Gorgeous smooth red leather interior and matching carpet with original floor mats all in good condition. Mounting bolts under steering column from a previous installed hand control system for disabled driver. All gauges in working condition. Arm rest material fatigue repaired by custom leather detail patch – matching both sides. All glass is good. Smooth operation of power windows and sun roof. Sun roof liner from pull shade needs to be reattached.
