Oregon. this rare LaSalle Convertible Coupe remained with one family from 1938 to 2015. passing through 3 generations from the grandfather. to father and son. Always garaged. pampered and sparingly driven. it has clocked just 62. 90 miles since new - an average of just 800 miles per year over the past 77 years. Remarkable!In 1992 the family commissioned a high-end. concours show quality restoration of their beloved LaSalle. We are told that everything was done to bring the car back to like-new condition. including paint. chrome. new tan Haartz cloth top and black leather interior by renowned Northwest upholsterer. Stan Jones. Following the comprehensive restoration the car was shown and used on a limited basis until now. Recently it was mechanically refreshed with full service to the original 322 cubic inch flat head V8 engine. It runs and drives beautifully. Whisper-quiet with no smoke. Plenty of power.
