Chevrolet Corvair 1962 Description
1962 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside/ Greenbrier Restomod "Flat Bed Fred" beautiful award winning rust free, utstanding engineering and runs great. Older restoration by a Corvair Minnesota member still as nice today.Fred was restored with a rust free South Dakota Rampside and also a Greenbrier Van. Fred has always belonged to Corvair Minnesota members and I am the 3rd owner. The bed is made of diamond plate and has a hydraulic motor to lift part of the bed for engine access controlled by a switch is in the cab. Fred has a 110 hp engine with a 4 speed and the steering is tight and a pleasure to drive. There is afull size spare tire behind the seat and Fred comes with a custom car cover., M radio with electronic antenna, ustom horn. There are two lockable storage boxes under the flat bed that you can see in the photos. One on the left is deep and wide, t will hold several sets of golf clubs and there is a heavy roll up mat that is used during parades for a couple of lawn chairs. The small box on the right side is used for detailing supplies. The tank on the right side under the bed is from a 1920's combine and does not hold anything. I have found a Corvair Corsa so I need to find a new home for Fred. Let me know if you have any questions or need photos of a certain area on the truck. For further information on the truck you can contact CORSA treasurer and Corvair Minnesota member Paul Sergeant. Thanks for bidding!Jack

Well done and well maintained. I have no personal interest in the sale of this vehicle, changed the gas tank sender for the previous owner.
