Chevrolet Camaro 1974 Description

This auction is for a 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe. This car belongs to my son in law who asked if I would list it for him. This is a car that he has had for a while with the intentions of restoring it as he went a long. He has recently under gone some serious medical issues and must now sell the car. I will tell you what was told to me and also how I see the car. The car started out as a burgundy colored car. When he obtained the car it had been in a primered state. Still needed a little body repair. The interior was in real decent shape . Drivers side door panel is wrinkled and someone made up a dash pad. Head liner has a few pins holding it up. A low mileage mid eighty's 350 4 bolt main motor was installed . Runs real good. Has auto trans power steerin, power brakes and was a factory air car but ac parts are missing. Has the deep tinted glass all in good shape. Has fairly new dual exhaust. He installed a set of American racing special edition 17" wheels with good 235-45 R 17 tires. The body on the car is in fairly decent shape. The underside floors, frame rails, and braces are all in good solid original condition. Trunk pan is good and solid. There are very minor spots on the lower bottom of both front fenders that had a repair . And both lower outer rear quarter panels . The drivers side lower quarter was welded on and just needs final prep. The passenger lower rear panel is just attached with a couple of rivets. That needs to be welded on properly. There is a dent on the passenger side rocker panel . Both lower trunk extensions behind these panels that butt to them need some rust repair. The thin rear panel behind the fuel tank that always tends to rust on these cars needs replacement also. We have that pane, and one of the fender bottoms that will be included in the sale. Rather then leave the car in various shades of prime, he had some yellow paint that he sprayed the car with to keep the moisture out until he had the time to prep the body properly and spray it professionally. It needs a pair of rub strips for the bumpers and he told me the switch for the directional s works if you play with it but he has a good one to go with it, This is a car that you can drive and enjoy and fix it up as you go along. It is getting hard to find a vintage camaro at a reasonable price range so if you are handy and have the ability to bring the car a little further along then this may be for you. A very fair reserve for what the car is. We require a $500 non refundable deposit at the close of the auction and balance to be paid in 3 days of auctions end.We reserve the right to end the auction early in case of a local sale. We have a current Maine registration and proper dealer transfer paper work to make a smooth transaction.
