This 1951 Chevy 1/2 ton shortbox is one of the cleanest trucks with a rust free body that came out of my collection. it is original paint that in my opinion would look totally awsome with clear coat to protect the petina. The floors are completley replaced with welded in panles. The fenders doors cab corners etc look great, ook at pics and video for any minor surface rust etc. extremely clean. the interior dash and door panels are in great shape.

I did a complete tune up (points, lugs, ondensor, ebuilt carb etc) I installed a new brake master cylinder and rear brake lines. The front brakes need to be hooked up. The truck stops the way it should. The engine runs smooth with no knocks misses or smoke. I noticed the water pump leaking so I replaced the waterpump. I converted it to a 12 volt and left the orignal older wire harness there. The temp and oil pressure guage and headlights work. The tires are marginal and should be replaced but are servicable the way they are. I am running the truck off a aux tank as the original should be cleaned before hooking up. I put new windows in the doors and look great and go up and down. the windshield had a minor crack as pictured. The chrome grill is in great shape!The roof visor really sets the truck off! It still has the orginal seat and seat cover on it. As you can see, he edges are starting to come apart. Definitely usuable the way it is. The wood in the bed was rotted so I removed it and it just has a plywood bed in it now. The only rust issue I saw was the bottom edge of the tailgate as pictured. You dont notice it when the tailgate is closed but notice it when it is open. This has the 216 6 cyl and the RARE 4 speed on the floor for a shortbed halfton.This makes it really fun to drive!.

As the video shows, he clutch and trans shifts the way they should. we had it up to 50 mph comfortably and had tons of thumbs up and smiles!This truck is only original once and I hope the new owner keeps the amazing petina! this truck comes with a clean and clear matching number title ready for you to register. AS everybody has thier own opinion on what a survivor chevy truck should be, recommend you come and inspect the truck or hire ebay to do a independant inspection for you before placing a bid. the plates and toppers and dash magnets are part of my personal collection and do not go with the sale.
