1988 Chevrolet Short Wheel Base Pickup. 1/2 Ton Standard Cab. This truck started it's life out in South Carolina. This truck body/sheet metal is all original. Absolutely no rust what-so-ever anywhere, ith one exception. There is a small silver dollar size rust hole through passenger side rocker panel. Seems very, ery odd and can not explain why. Please note driver side top of fender and edge of hood in the same area has a dent, ue to a tree limb falling on it. The truck is an older paint. I was told the color of paint in Jauguar Green. I think the paint was also laquer, ut I do not know that. The finish is not perfect, ut fair to nice. To my knowledge and the knowledge of the purchaser that I purchased it from, here is no mud in this truck. It is a good clean truck with exceptions of that small rocker panel.
Truck has been professionally lowered in the rear approx. 4" and lowered in the front approx. 4". It has new aluminum wheels and new tires. It has a 350 CU IN engine with aluminum intake and Elderbrock performer carberator. Aluminum value covers, ons of extra chrome and custom pieces under the hood. It has great AC and Heat. Automatic transmission, speed with 22,000RPM stall convertor. Limited Slip positive traction rear.
Power steering, ower brakes/disc front brakes, rum brakes rear. Manual windows, nd custom steering wheel. All instrument gauges have been replaced with new Pro-Comp Ultra Lite gauges and an additional pillar gauges are new. All original wiring was removed and replaced with new wiring. Hidden Hitch for towing and wiring are under the license plate.
Everything electrically in this truck works fine with one exception and that is the gas gauge. The truck runs and works 100%. You can pick it up and drive it ANYWHERE. There are no over heating problems. It starts everytime, uns everytime, hifts great. You don't need to trailer this truck home if you don't want to it, t will drive anywhere.
Any stickers or graphics on this truck are vinyl and will remove easily without marks.
I am 58 years old and thought I was going through my childhood again when I bought this. I just do not have time to enjoy this truck. I did not build the truck, do not pretend to know anything more than what I mentioned above and that was just what I was told from the party I purchased it from years ago.
