Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 1966 Description
Hell, you are looking at a fairly rar, Factory buil, Open Road camper. It is built on a Chevy Dually platfor, with the back opened up to move between the cab are, and the living area . The rig was parked for many year, and it was kep, somewhat clean . while the paneling is discolore, and warped in many place, Everything is there for pattern, to bring this back to it's original glory . The hot water heater is gon, and I do not know if th, small, heating unit works .the biffy will need a good cleanin, or replacing all in the shower / bathroom combo would be easier . The fuel, brake, cooling systems should all be flushed and refilled . I ran the engine off a can of ga, under the hoo, and it sounded perfec, NO TICK, RATTLE, OR ENGINE NOISE OF ANY KIND , the engine is smoot, one of the nicest sounding 327s I have hear, ( and I build them for a living ) I was offered $1200 for the engine and 4-speed trann, so That is where the bidding will star, I have the proper dually wheels to put on the fron, ( I used regular 8 hole wheels to get it up on my trailer ) . I suppose this could be drive, bu, I would suggest trailering i, as I said befor, it was parked for many year, and the systems should all be freshened u, ALS, the tire, while they hold ai, and do not look too ba, I would not trust them on the highwa, for any distance at all , ,, Baby needs new shoes,,,, ! ! !The seating area in the cab is amazin, and complet, 70,001 is the true mileag, and the pedals and seats show very minimal wea, The truck has power steerin, that resembles a 66 mustang setup, it also has power brake, and A/C .The oute, truck body is also in fantastic shap, I put pictures of the rusty areas on the lower fende, rear edge, there is also a bit in the front edge of the hoo, all is minima, and easy fi, , the fender patches would only need to be about 2x4 inche, or you could get lower fender repair panel, always availabl, and chea, I would make my ow, I am an old school body ma, and I could patch and metal finish them in just a couple hour, ( Metal finishing is a lost ar, and ZERO filler is used ) . the seats are in great shap, too, the damage is picture, they are nic, the dash is clea, with no damag, or missing item, Some of the camper side glass may be cracke, , but itis flat glas, so easy enough to replac, This is just a nice old campe, that would be a cheap hotel to stay i, while selling your wares at a swap mee, or camp at a car sho, or up in the woods, Thanx for stopping b, and peekingin one of the many rigs I ow, Feel free to rea, "About Me" and my 100% positive feedback . andtake a look at my operatio, on Facebook @ Joe's Garage, Montan, or my personal pag, Joe Roone, I am located in Billing, and would be happy to answer any questions you may hav, I only have one reques, Call m, I was nearly killedby a texting drive, and she destroyed my favorite truc, so NO TEX, WHATSOEVE, and I seldom go on my compute, I am a one man operatio, and work long hour, I always have my phone on m, and can talk about old iron all da, s, please CALL between 7AM and 8PM mountain standard time @ 406-591-9090
