This sinister looking 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Resto-Mod is powered by a GM ZZ572 Deluxe crate motor which is a factory built long block rated at 720hp @ 6,250 rpm and 685 lb-ft of torque @ 4,500 rpm. This monster engine breathes through an 1150 CFM Dominator style carburetor and rectangular-port aluminum heads with 2.25/1.88 valves. A solid roller lifter camshaft providing 0.714/0.714" of lift while it exhales via Billy Boat long tube headers. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed GM Supermatic 4L85-E automatic transmission with a 2,400 rpm stall torque converter and an electronic transmission controller which lets you program shift points and part throttle response. A GM Performance heavy duty ignition system provides a strong spark while the engine compartment is finished off by a GM Performance serpentine belt accessory drive system and a BeCool aluminum radiator.

The deep black painted body of this Nomad is highlighted with a painted insert inside the beautiful bright work of this car. Up front, he hood features billet hinges while the rear lift gate has gas struts.

The low and mean stance of this '55 Nomad is provided by a 4-link rear suspension and Foose wheels shod with 255/30-20 front and 395/25-22 rear Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires. Four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors provide stopping power while a Unisteer rack and pinion kit keeps steering tight. American Autowire wiring powers the electrical system.

The custom black interior features silver piping, front bench seat, ilt steering, lassic Instruments gauges and a Vintage Air HVAC system with air conditioning, eat and defroster.
