Chevrolet Impala 1968 Description

This car was made in Arlingto, TX . Was bought brand new at the San Angel, TX Chevy dealer . I am the third owner and have owned this car since 1997 . When I bought i, it had 28,000 original miles . In 2016 this is still a solid ca, everyday driver . No major issues . Interior - front seat torn ba, rear seat torn a little . Headliner has been removed ( still has hardware ) . Dash is cracked . Carpet goo, floors goo, cluster goo, glass good . All original interio, front and rear glass has been re sealed .Exterior - 2 rust cancer slots on bottom from quarter panels L is about 2" in diamete, R is about 4" . Only rust issues on whole car . Is getting in need of pain, original paint is fadin, top staring to get a light brown haze . Header pan re painted . Has some scratches and dent, but I consider it a very solid body .Drive train - all origina, numbers matchin, 30, power glide trann, has all been maintained as an everyday driver . Good front en, good rear with all poly bushings and coil over shocks . Does have oil leak, probably oil pan and timing cove, tranny leaks also . No brake leaks or axle leaks . Rally wheels ( does come with original 14x7 steel wheels and hub caps ) ( rally not original ) with great condition Firestone fire hawks .This was my first ca, it has always been a great car . It is getting to where it needs to be restored and I won't be the one to do it . If you like the 68 impala sport coup, this is a great one .
