Chevrolet C-10 1972 Description
I love 67-72 Chevy shortbox trucks. 71 and 72 models are my favorite for both appearance and for having standard front disc brakes. They just aren't out there in good condition.
I bought this truck from a Hispanic man that had moved to Northern IL from Texas. He owned it for decades. He even drove it from here to Mexico and back. It is that reliable. About 18 years ago, e lost he license due to multiple drunk driving offenses. The truck sat until just recently when he was able to get his license back. But after all these years, e lost interest. I bought it and got it back in good and reliable running condition.
This truck has always been black, ccording to the SPID label on glovebox door. The paint may be original. It certainly isn't of show quality, s there are lots of scratches, hips, ings and imperfections. It truly appears to be original. This truck is not rusty. I don't see patches or body filler. It is not showing rust bubbles. I believe the inner rockers were replaced. The cab corners are solid. The floors are solid. The bed floor is in great condition. All features and lights work properly. There is a spare wheel/tire, ut no jack. The doors lock with the key. The engine performs very well. The transmission is the original three speed with a floor shifter modification. The sliding rear window is factory installed. The steering wheel is not original. The interior is in nice condition. The tires are very good. The exhaust, tarter, uel pump and battery are near new. The Rochester carburetor is rebuilt. The odometer reads 110,xxx and is believed to be actual.
I have a clear title that matches the serial number on the truck. I will accept cash or wire transfer of funds. If you need to pay by check, Bank Money Order is fine, ut I will need to wait four weeks for it to clear. You are required to pay the deposit via Paypal within 24 hours. You bid, ou win, ou are bound to buy the truck. Please play by the rules. There is no warranty implied or offered. You are buying this truck as-is. I welcome your questions and hope that you ask any you might have before bidding.
