Chevrolet Camaro 1968 Description
This 1968 Camaro SS 396 that has undergone a frame off restoration. It was originally a Virginia car so they were able to start with a good piece. It is the perfect car if you want to enjoy cruise nights and car shows without the expense of a numbers matching car. I have taken this to many shows and it always gets a lot of lookers and picture takers. This car is nice inside. out. and underneath. It was fully restored and finished in 2010. Basically everything on the car is either new or rebuilt. The paint is Lemans Blue with black interior and with the black rally stripes. The paint job excellent and the body panels and gaps are very good. Before it was painted. the car was completely disassembled and rebuilt. see pics. All chrome and trim is all nice. The car starts and drives perfect. It has power front disc brakes with power steering. The tires are mounted on rally wheels with plenty of tread and are the perfect size to give the car a big tire look without needing to be jacked up. It also has air shocks on the rear to keep the car at that perfect level. It has a 4-speed transmission with a 10 bolt rear end. The exhaust system gives the big block that perfect rumble. The interior is in great shape with no tears or wear areas. The dash pad. door panels. carpet. headliner. sun visors. etc. is all like new. The car is always garaged and only driven to car shows and cruise nights. I would encourage anyone who wants to buy this car to come and inspect this car here in Auburn New York. You will not be disappointed. I am also advertising it locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. I would consider delivering the car within 200 miles or so of central new York if I get close to my price point. (FYI. I have already turned down $22500)
