Chevrolet Impala 1963 Description

LOOK AT THIS. A 1963 CONVERTIBLE READY FOR YOURVISION. Selling this car for a friend that lives in South Carolina, ut the car is at his home in Kentucky. He purchased this car from a Kentucky builder named Stanley Staton, ho bought the car from a gentleman in California they called Ragtop Ralph. This is all the history I know of the car. My buddy bought the car in 1992, rought it home, ut it in a dry garage, overed it and there it sat for all these years. Stanley was going to make a "hopper" out of it, ut got only so far as the body work and louvering the hood. Look at the body, t's straight as can be. The door jambs are seam filled and finished. The firewall and radiator support are filled and smoothed. This car was stripped and etched primed, lock sanded and then primed red oxide. I have no idea why you would, ut the car could easily be painted in 2 to 3 days. The body is that good. There are no door poppers or electric openers so the doors have to currently be opened with the inside handles. I don't have photos here of the pile of parts and trim he has, ut do have a few on my phone. With a phone number will gladly text to you. It appears everything is here for the car except the seats. The one seat (1964 Super Sport?) goes with the car. The top bows are good but of course the material needs replacing. The engine ran when it was bought in 1992, as been started some, ut has not been started in years. He thinks only the center carb was used. 4 speed trans appears to have a 64 shifter. All the glass is good. Top motor and hydraulics are with the car. There are only two bad spots on the car and they are easily visible in the photos of the trunk. He thinks they are there because of the batteries before Stanley gave up on the hopper idea. This car is straight and solid. No photos of the frame, t is not detailed but is very solid and should require only some clean up work. This car is ready for your vision. It can be so beautiful when done. If you are the winning bidder, ull payment is expected within 10 days of auction close. You are also responsible for pickup or shipping. We will assist with that. Please pay attention to this auction. Bid to win, nd I will assure you that you would be happy to own this car.
