Chevrolet Blazer 1971 Description

This is a 1971 Blazer CST 4WD. Has a new 6" lift with new steering arm shocks and drag link. New steering column fuel pump and battery. The 37" Pro-Comp X-treme have less than 50 miles on them. The doors and wheel-wells are rust free but there are some old rust through spots in the floor near the tail-gait. The original paint is very thin but the body is in pretty good condition with the exception of holes in the front fender where a battery must have leaked and the numerous drill holes where accessories have been added and removed over the years. The engine starts and runs fine but backfires and bogs down during acceleration. It has been updated to electronic ignition by a previous owner. The truck sat for years so I flushed the tank (45 gallon with a drain spigot) blew out the lines and replaced the pump filler neck and filter. The 4-speed manual transmission and and clutch are in good shape. The parking brake is not attached on the driver's side and does not work. The brakes are in good shape; front disc with rear drum. The HVAC controls are missing and I think the heater core is shot but I did put in new ducting and vent outlets in the dash. The front seats are dirty and torn but are fine with seat covers The back seat is original and isn't ripped but is completely dried out and the stuffing is falling out.I recently ground off the surface rust on the tail-gait rust and rattle canned it with a rust inhibitor.I'm selling because I'm out of time and money and passed my line in the sand on this truck. It could be a fun truck to drive around and off road but will never be a show truck or original restoration candidate. I've tried to cover all the good and bad. If you need anymore description or pictures please ask. I'm assuming the odometer has flipped at least once.I would like the full payment within 5 business days and I will help out any shipping company you choose.
