Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1957 Description

This car was left out in the open for decades. However, it has many convertible only parts to it. It also has a good firewall with the VIN on the A pillar. I also believe that the frame is useable and has the matching VIN. In addition I have a 1967 vehicle registration for the vehicle showing it as a convertible. You're really buying the registration along with the firewall and frame. I will give you a bill of sale with the car. This is the perfect candidate if you're going with a new body. To many people are putting 70-80k and up into building a new car and are using the firewall and vin of a 2 or 4 door. The windshield is different and this can be easily detected. It's worth paying a bit more for this car with an old registration that shows it as a true convertible. You'll be able to register it as a 57 convertible and the numbers will match better than alot of the show cars you see out there. I have included pictures and as you can see the car is shot. It's rusted through but does have some convertible only parts such as the stainless around the windshield, etc. This stuff is expensive and you can't beat original. Again I am not sure what condition the frame is in. It was towed from Long Island to Brewster, NY and held up fine. However all of the body supports are rusted through as are the doors, panels and everything else. Not sure what you can salvage. Buyer must arrange pickup. The car is in Brewster, NY.
