Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Description
This American muscle convertible is iconic in all the right places, nd upgraded exactly where you want it. After all, veryone loves the design of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible, nd now finally you can reach up for that extra 5th gear you've always sought after. There's just something special about a 1st generation Rally Sport Camaro convertible. It has that cool iconic front end that hides the headlights behind stylized Rally Sport panels until they are needed (Detroit Speed electric headlight motors), nd we love how the electronic folding roof keeps out the elements until you want sunny day cruising. It also doesn't hurt that this one has a killer paint package. The silver shines fantastically on this exceptionally straight body. It also is the perfect hue to coordinate with the main trim such as the black hockey stick stripe on the fenders, lacked-out grille, nd black roof. This one also gets the details you really want correct, ike the cowl induction hood and ducktail spoiler. Chrome is used sparingly so the bright details really standout in places like the pristine rear bumper, he RallySport badges on the fenders, nd the aggressively staggered American Racing Torq Thrust alloy wheels.Just like the exterior, he interior is a nice complementing array of silver and black. In fact, his car's correct coded black vinyl bucket seats looks exceptionally original and absolutely nice. This is a driver-centric car, nd so everything is within reach, rom the AM/FM/cassette stereo, o the heat/defrost controls, o the switch for the power folding top. But the real control happens from the three-spoke sport steering wheel, nd the stick shift. By now you have noticed the chrome Hurst leaver, ut have you counted the gears yet? Do you see that extra one?Just as the fender callouts told you, his is powered is a 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8, ut you know this one is different from the moment you pop the hood. Beyond the fantastic shiny elements that go great with the paint, his is a well-built performance engine. It's a quick revving, oller camshaft crate motor with less than 500 miles on it since instillation. These are very upgrade-able, nd it already has some nice goodies like a performance intake and headers. For those who don't get to see the powerplant as you roll by, hey will hear its monster power through the new Magnaflow dual exhaust with performance X-pipe construction. But it's not just the motor that has been upgraded. There are new suspension components, ncluding tubular A-arms in the front, nd shocks all around. Plus, s we've been alluding to before, his Camaro has been upgraded to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. This package is not only great for handling some serious power (including any more you want to add,) but there's also something nice about having an extra gear in everyday life. Combine the flexible transmission with this coupe's power steering and front disc brakes, nd this Camaro convertible is quite a nice top-down cruiser on those days when you don't want to be an intimidator. This is a recently restored street eating American muscle car. It's the right ragtop for those who like to drive their icons just as much as showing them off. Don't miss out, all today!!
