This 1950 chevy pick up truck is truly a RARE SURVIVOR find! I bought this truck from a farmer in Chetek WI who had been driving it on short errands around his farm. I was going to do a complete go through on this truck and use it as a patina daily driver shop truck. By the time I got the truck home and we were ready to go through it, found a different shop truck and decided to offer this one for sale. We went through the truck and addressed the rust in the floor and replaced the floor pans, einforced the cab mounts, atch paneled the cab corners, tc. The body is all steel with very little filler. The interior is 100 percent original with the original seat and solid springs.

I then addressed the mechanical issues. I did a tune up with points, lugs, ondensor, uel pump and fuel filter, ew 6 volt battery, ebuilt carb, oil, ew master cylinder and new rear brake cylinders and lines (fronts need to be done but stops fine the way it is) and new exhaust. We left the truck factory correct 6 volt system. All of the guages and lights are working as far as I can see. The truck has a 216 6 cylinder engine and it runs very nice (see video), o smoke knocks or misses. I drove this truck 35 miles to my house and back the day we did the video and it didnt over heat and was a blast to drive. It rode like a 1950 chevy truck should in my opinion. The one thing I noticed was that I had to blow the gas line out as it was dirty in the fuel filter so I would suggest either cleaning the gas tank out or replacing the gas tank ($150 jim carter trucks, mc trucks etc) . The glass is all there as pictured( crack in rear window etc) (easy fix flat glass $30 jim carter truck approx.)

The truck bed has the original wood and is very servicable. The tires are servicabe but I would not make long trips with them as they are old and should be replaced to be a daily driver. This is a numbers matching title ready for you to register. It is your option to keep the truck the way it is and keep the patina, would clear coat it and protect the vintage look personally, r you could take it to the next level and paint it etc.

This truck would be a blast to take to any car show as a survivor/original truck and have lots of smiles and thumbs up along the way. I do not want to overcall this or undercall it,let the pics and video tell you the story.I invite you to come and check it out before bidding or hire ebay to do a independant inspection for you as that way there is no disappointment on what it is. I requre a 500 dollar deposit within 24 hours of auction end and full payment due in 7 days from auction end no exceptions, nbsp;I can assist in recommending shippers I have used in the past who have been very reasonable. make sure to read our terms and conditions below the pics, f you have any questions call 563 568 5111 or 563 568 1182. thanks and have fun bidding on this very original 1950 survivor chevy 3600 truck!!
