Chevrolet Camaro 1971 Description

This exceptionally clean and original Z-28 (one of 4,862) was built the second week of February, 971 (02B) in Norwood, hio, o it has the firewall “Cowl tag” with the Z28 verification stamp (Z28.19). Car has original Owners Manual and Vehicle Warranty Policy documents. The car is painted the original Cranberry Red (#75) with Black Stripes (#.19). Paint was redone in 1995, ot showroom but very good (an 8+ on 10 scale). Body is very straight and the car is rust free. The interior is standard Black (#775), ith center console, houlder and lap belts and upholstery and carpets are in exceptional condition throughout. Gauges, ights, nd accessories work, orn does not.

This Z-28 has its original, orn with, Matching Numbers”, 50/330 HP, LT-1” solid lifter engine with block stamp V0125CGP (engine built Jan. 25, 971) and matching partial VIN stamp, lock #3970010, ast date “A-151” (January 15, 971) and correct 10 bolt, .73 (#CG) Posi-traction rear end (#CG G 231 1 W). The Muncie, -21, lose ratio 4 Speed (#3925661) with original Muncie shifter, tamp #P1M13B is date code correct for 1971 and may be a warranty replacement. The car has power steering, spoke sport steering wheel with F-60/15 Goodyear Polyglass tires, ower brakes with front discs and correct style 5 spoke factory wheels. The undercarriage of the car received a restoration in 2008 including: original red oxide trim on panels, ew brake lines, lutch, hocks, ody mounts, xhaust pipes, uspension parts and is in clean and pristine condition.

All the required identifiers unique to the 1971 “Z-28” are present such as; floor mounted gas pedal, 50 MPH speedometer, 000 RPM tach., owl Tag stamp, luminum spacers/bumpers on control arms, arger sway bars, way bar brackets, ouble snorkel air cleaner, ear bumperettes, ront and rear spoilers(D80) and larger fuel line.
