Chevrolet C-10 1971 Description
You are looking at an abandoned project. It is a rolling truck(meaning NO engine or trans). I purchased this from a friend of mine in a package deal,he had been slowly building it. He has since lost interest and sold it to me. Ihave too many other projects going on at the present time and will not get tothis one soon enough so I am letting it go. The frame is all custom built from 2x4 thick wall tubing with 4 inches of drop for the body built into it. The frame was built in a college welding class. It measures dead on in every aspect of a stock one(except the drop). It has a 4 linked rear with stock front, ach set up for bags. It was set up for a small blockwith auto trans.I have 6 inch wood blocks setting in place of the bags so that it sets up andwill roll(that is why it sets odd / tall in pics). The stock steering shaft will need to be modified to clear the upper control arm so thatfront oftruck will lowerwhen bagged or removing the wood blocks due to the body drop(clears by 3/4 inch as it sets). Has front disc / rear drum. frame has etch primer on it.Truck rolls and steers. This isREAL patina and rust. Body is a little rough but can be fixed. Has a clear IL title. The truck will need all normal patches; cab corners, nner / outer rockers, ed patches, oor bottoms, loor patches etc. There is some rust above the inner Windshield shown in pic. Rear window is just taped in to keep critters out while it sat.Comes with some misc parts not shown.I washed off the dirt and took the photos. Please ask all ??? I can help load if needed. Must be picked up in Metropolis IL 62960. $100 deposit by PayPal and the remainder in CASH no checks before the truck leaves.
I have a turbo 350 trans and a 40 over 350 engine that can be purchased separately by the winning bidder for $400.00.
