Chevrolet Nova 1970 Description

Up for auctionis myFathom Blue 1970 Nova SS 396. This is aREAL SS396/375 L78Nova,NOT a Clone, ribute, r Re-creation.This is an absolutely stunning Nova thatlooks even better in person! It is a blast to drive and gets a ton of compliments everywhere it goes!I bought it from a guy that owned it for 20 years and had bought it from the original owner. The original 396 was blown up long ago and it now has afresh 555 cid DartBlock with Pro Comp Aluminum rectangle port heads, beam rods, 340 steel crank, ew Holley carb, ooker headers, ydraulic cam,Roller rockers,etc.. This is a pump gas enginethat has a Ton of torque and horsepower. There is over $10K in motor alone.Has nearly new Mickey Thompson Drag Radials on the rear along with Caltrac traction bars. The transmission is aMuncie4 speed. The originalCBT code355:1 12 bolt posirear end is still in thecar along withits originalbig block radiator support, original big block heater core, riginal front power disc brakes,etc..This rear end wasstandardfor the 1970375hp L78 Novas. This Nova Looks, ounds,Runs and Drives Awesome! ThisCar is Very Fast and not for the novice or unskilled driver! It has had one repaint in its originalFathom Blue and the black vinyl top was added according to trim tag but looks original.Body is laser straight and rust free. I would give the paint a 9 on a 10 scale only because there are a fewimperfections that most people wouldn't even notice. Paint has a beautiful mirror finish.Allbody panels appear to be original as well as thetrunk and floors. Body gaps are beautiful and doors, ood, nd trunk open and close solid and tight. There is a little typical surface rust in trunk and underneath where the paint or coating has been scraped. The undercarriage is beautiful, straight, nd solidas well. The front subframe was professionally modified and reinforced toallow for ease of oil pan removal.Car also has frame connectors for added strength. All glass and trim moldings are in excellent condition. The black custom bench seat interior is in excellent condition and mostly original. There are 2small repairablecuts in the driver's seat and headrest and the carpet has a coupleminor in the front.
