Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1958 Description

Listing for sale a running/driving relatively clean and straight 1958 Chevrolet DelRay (very similar to the Bel Air / Belair). Came across this after it had been sitting for 4yrs before which it was a daily driver. It's in surprisingly good condition for it's age with minimal rust. This would be a solid daily driver with almost no work or an excellent candidate for any kind of restoration or hot rod build. I'm not particularly knowledgable on vehicles but the man I purchased it from stated drive train includes:"0.030 over 327 V8 and Turbo 350 with a shift kit. Also has a 290 or 310 ring and pinion" No problem achieving free-way speeds. He cut the exhaust off. As you can tell is pretty loud without the muffler but the engine purrs beautifully once warm (probably even better after you adjust the carb change points plugs etc). No knocks. Starts easily.Automatic transmission shifts smoothly however the linkage on the column is sticky and will need some revising (however this is all peripheral linkage and a pretty easy fix). Super low reserve so IT WILL SELL bid to win!I reserve the right to end the auction early for local sale if reserve is not yet met

In response to some inquiries the car would should be trailered at time of pickup as it's been sitting for 4 yrs without service. Will need a full inspection regular maintenance and then some before truly road worthy (in my opinion...but it's registered if you're more adventurous).

Performed a couple more tasks requested:Went around with a magnet and it seems to stick everywhere...don't see evidence of bondo (although not a trained eye but appears all steel and magnet seems to stick everywhere). In the trunk there appears to be a lot of the dash trim and knobs including the chromed glovebox visors stainless some knobs/levers etc.
