Chevrolet C-10 1961 Description

1961 Chevrolet apache short wide bed hotrod. Runs a drives pretty good. Truck is fairly period correct for what would have been built years ago. I have invested over $3,000 dollars of BRAND NEW PARTS into this truck. First off, the truck was a factory v8 283 truck but has a newly rebuilt 327 010 block. That has a mild cam installed. Newer edelbrock 1405 carburetor. Updated H.E.I. distributor. Has a brand new 3 core aluminum radiator. Run through brand new exhaust and 16" glasspacks with turn downs. Transmission is a 1956 Borg Warner 3- speed manual with electronic overdrive.( overdrive is not hooked up currently) old school indy shifter that has a little play to it. Brand new brakes up front including shoes, wheel cylinders, hoses, hardware and master cylinder. Clutch has a new slave cylinder and pushrod. Brand new wheels and white wall tires.Suspension includes torsion bar front end. With new drop shocks.(not installed) out back is new 4"drop springs. New tail light buckets and wiring.All the glass is good including the windshield. Windows roll up and down. Heater works on a toggle switch. All lights are good and in working order. Years ago someone installed a metal bed floor over the existing wood floor. Metal has rusted but 90 of the wood and metal are intacked. Steering has a little play in the steering gearbox but other wise works like it should.Trailing arms have a little rust in them but have not givin me any problems. I drive this truck around quite a bit and get tons of looks. But ready to sell due to college loans. I have a clean and clear kansas title in my name. And other questions, please ask.
