Chevrolet Cheyenne 1971 Description
Listedfor sale is my Dad s 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super. We have had this truck for thelast 6yrs in the restoration process with mydad working on it when he felt like it of course he is 89 now. Truck was originally a long wheel base that has been professionally cut into a short wheel base all measurements taken from a short bed frame and Tig welded (see pics). My Dad has painted it with Lacquer paint in which is retired from the restoration business of 50yrs. This was a straight solid southerntruck with the exception of the normal outer rust in the rocker panels and cab corners. Both of these were replaced with New ones along with new rear cab supports. The bed is Brand New along with the Tailgate so notBonded up truck here!. All outside trim is new from bumper to bumper. Just installed the new correct bumper guards along with a new set of American Classic radial tires (not cheap). All inside is new; carpet seat cover door panels dash pad instrument bezel air vents headliner trim glove box and windshield. Does have Newdual exhaust. Motor and trans are original with 120124k on the odometer. She purs like a kitten and does have a new carburetor. We do have the original steering wheel. Truck does need a little bit of fine tuning; a/c charged some more buffing etc. Now you will see in the pics of the glove box description plate this is a factory Big Block truck not a clone. See the vin# @ the top its all there. This is a real eye catching truck. It isfor sale on E-Bay only and not advertised anywhere else. We have reserve we feel @ fair market value soWe don't need any help or appraisers. My dad has done over 50 of these trucks since the craze hit in 1982. All u got to do is getanew parts catalog and see how fast it adds up not counting the truck or labor. He s 89 now and this is the last one. The truck in the carport is NOT FOR SALE so don't ask. It was my greatUncles which he bought new and stays in the family. We reserve the right to end auction early. Instead of an Arkansas title it has a clear Kansas title. He never changed it. Also. he wasn't able to spray the inside of the bed. It will need painting. He did paint the tailgate inside but it was purchased before he bought the new bed. Take not both are Brand New!.. I will add a inside bed pic. . Just want to be up front and honest.
