WE HAVE ENTIRE HISTORY SINCE THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW! PURCHASED BRAND NEW IN 1931 BY BERYL ROE OF MILAN, OH. THIS CHEVY WAS PURCHASED AS A SECOND VEHICLE AND DRIVEN SPARINGLY, WHILE GARAGE KEPT FROM DAY ONE. IT WAS PASSED ALONG TO BERYL'S BROTHER, CHANT ROE OF MILAN, OHIO IN THE 1950'S. CHANT DROVE IT PERIODICALLY WHILE MAINTAINING IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE LEAVING IT TO HIS DAUGHTER, HELEN LANDIS, OF CANTON, OHIO IN 1967. HELEN DROVE IT MINIMALLY THEN PARKED IT IN HER GARAGE, STARTING IT AND DRIVING IT PERIODICALLY OVER THE YEARS. IN 1980, THE CAR WAS PASSED ALONG TO HELEN'S SON, BRUCE LANDIS OF ROOTSTOWN, OHIO. BRUCE PARKED THE CAR IN HIS GARAGE, ALSO PERIODICALLY STARTING ITOVER THE YEARS AND DRIVING IT VERY SPARINGLY. WEACQUIREDTHE CAR FROM BRUCE'S WIDOW IN SEPTEMBER OF 2016. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL, ONE FAMILY OWNED, ACCIDENT FREE, UN-RESTORED 1931 CHEVY IN AMAZING CONDITION FOR ITS! AN OIL CHANGE STICKER ON THE DOOR SHOWS AN OIL CHANGE AT BILL'S SOHIO SERVICE IN MILAN, OH IN 1966 AT 43,242 MILES. THE CAR CURRENTLY HAS 44,496 MILES ON THE WORKING ODOMETER / SPEEDOMETER. ORIGINAL PAINT AND INTERIOR WITH ONLY SOME BRUSH PAINTING TO THE FENDERS OVER 50 YEARS AGO. THE PAINT HAS A BEAUTIFUL PATINA AND YOU CAN SEE THE ORIGINAL PRIMER BLEEDING THROUGH IN CERTAIN AREAS. IT IS VERYOBVIOUSBY THE CONDITION OF THIS CAR THAT IT WAS SPARED FROM WINTER AND INCLEMENT WEATHER DRIVING. THE METAL ON THIS CAR IS EXTREMELY CLEAN AND THE INTERNAL WOOD FRAMING IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. EVEN THE VINYL TOP IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AT 86 YEARS OLD. A TRUE PROHIBITION SURVIVOR.

UPON RETURNING THIS TIME CAPSULE TO OUR SHOP, THE FOLLOWING WAS PERFORMED: ATHOROUGHCLEANING TO THE ENTIRE CAR, INCLUDING THE BODY, INTERIOR, AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FLUIDS FLUSHED AND CHANGED, GAS TANK PROFESSIONALLY BOILED OUT ANDTHOROUGHLYCLEANED, NEW PLUGS, WIRES, CAP, ROTOR, ANDCONDENSER, AND OIL PAN WAS REMOVED ANDTHOROUGHLYCLEANED TO REMOVE ALL OLD OIL AND CHECK THE BOTTOM END. WE ALSOTHOROUGHLYCLEANED, BUFFED, AND POLISHED THE CAR. WE HAVE DRIVEN HER A FEW MILES AND SHE RUNS GREAT!

They're built to drive and do develop drips from long periods of sitting due to expanding and contracting seals and gaskets. It's seldom that we come across a classic that's completely drip free. We do our best to describe our inventory in full detail, to include pictures and video; however, due tothe age of these cars, we're unable to offer a warranty. While we only deal in vehicles that are in quality condition, we always prefer the buyer take the time to check the vehicle out in person or arrange for a third party vehicle inspection.
