Chevrolet Corvair 1965 Description
*1965 CORVAIR GREENBRIER VAN PROJECT*For sale isthis very, very rare 1965 Corvair Greenbrier Van projectnumber 732 (from the title)of only 1528 produced in 1965, the last year of the Corvair Van. 164CU 110HP Engine #T0 16RX. It will need attention but is 98% complete, the engine turns over with the key, it has a matching set of tires & a clear VA title. I'm serious: this will be running with clean gas &new points. It also may need carbs & a fuel pump: this is all easy stuff on Corvairs! Heck I will help you put them on if you come in person to purchase! It has two rear seats & they were kept in storage so they have near flawless upholstery. Somebody is going to win this vehicle & go wow, I'm so lucky. I actually bought something they only made 1500 of, w/very few left in existence& nobody else has. While its listed: I wont sell iton Craigslist, I wont sell itto somebody for a cash offer, it wont sell until the bidding is over Sat Mar 26 at 8:00 EST.Please inspect the photos carefully & then ask your questions by email or phone. You have absolutely no reason not to bid because I will happily refund the purchase price minus listing feesif you are not completely satisfied when you see it in person. I truly don't want to sell my rare van.
I'm not thrilled aboutselling my van butcash is neededto help pay for the 1969 Dodge Dart GT 6cyl I bought off eBay last week. (check it outby inserting this # in the search engine:142305116136). I am aclassic car guy& I want to own at least one of everything while I'm around. Im serious, Id love to meet some Corvair people, you are the best in the world! I'd love to say I am oneas wellbut the truth is I'm a Van dude, a GM collector, a Mopar guy, a Cadillac man & a station wagon lover! Just cant seem to commit to one thing! ;)
ATTENTION Corvair fans: Iffor some reason it doesn't sell, which I will be OK with because I know it will run, I need a single part, can you help? It needs one air cleaner lid: its the top cover for the left side looking from the back.I will buy it immediately! Please LMK if you have an extra one around. I'm certain one of you has an extra so please don't be shy, email me! THANKS! I figure if this doesn't sell at least I will find that air cleaner lid w/the $70 listing fee!
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
Buyers are encouraged to see the vehicle in person: there is nothing to hide & I want you to be happy with the purchase! Distance keeps that difficult for many so I will be happy to speak with you about the vehicle: 540-384-7440 (call between 12 noon & 6:00 any day of the week). Winning bidders must pay a $100 non-refundable deposit. I KNOW right? That's not much. Final payment is expected 7 days after the listing ends by cash in person, Paypal (if you pay the fees) or bank to bank wire transfer. I will be here to help after the listing is over to help get it delivered, loaded or if you plan to drive it home. The vehicle will be allowed to stay for4 weeks after the end of the listing for free. $10. per week outdoor storage after.
