Chevrolet C-10 1970 Description
You are bidding on an original, unrestored 1970 Chevrolet C10 short bed truck. This truck is about as original as you will find, this is NOT a restored truck but is an unmolested 100% rust free original paint, original engine highly optioned near factory condition survivor truck. My father purchased this truck in the late 70's and it has been in a climate controlled garage it's whole life. My father only drove it on clear, sunny days. Unfortunately he has passed away and we are selling it off. You will not find a cleaner more original low mileage short bed big block truck with this many options anywhere. They just don't exist anymore. This is not a restored truck, this is original paint, original untouched engine and 100% rust free body and chassis. This truck is a beast with the big block, manual transmission (with low creeper gear), and indestructible Dana 60 rear end, which was an extremely rare COPO option for this year of truck.
The factory options on this truck includes:
L47 - 402 big block, All original, never been touched
G87 - Max traction (COPO Dana 60 rear axle)
M20 - manual 4-speed transmission
C20 - Air conditioning w/HD cooling package
Z84 - Custom Sport Truck (CST) package
B30 - Factory carpeting
Z53 - Ammeter/gauges
U16 - Tachometer
U63 - Push button radio
D64 - Mirrors
B93 - Door Edge Guards
K79 - 42 amp alternator
BX2 - Custom moldings
AM3 - Seat Belts (inc 3rd/middle belt)
Only 59,969 miles on this original paint, pristine garage kept beauty. Never been in snow and has been meticulously maintained its whole life. There are some modifications that were made over the years, such as big foot gas pedal and newer radio (to replace the 8-track lol) that can easily be swapped back to original. My dad bought off the 2nd owner in the 1980's and that guy had chromed several factory items like the glove box door. Nothing that should take away from the originality of probably the cleanest and most original and highly optioned truck you'll see in a long time. While my location is in the Dallas, TX area the actual truck is located in Pittsburgh PA area. For serious inquiries pleasemessage me. You can alsomessage me for more pictures or to talk in person about the truck.
If the truck doesn't sell I'll keep it, have it detailed and take it to BJ or Mecum and auction it for $20-30K more. Unfortunately we need to sell it soon to finalize the estate.
The terms of the auctions are as follows: $2000 fully refundable deposit (minus auction listing fees if the truck does not meet my listing) within 72 hours of end of auction, by PayPal only. Truck will be available for inspection by appointment within 72 hours of receipt of deposit. Upon agreement that buyer is satisfied with the truck the final payment to be made by CASH orBank Transfer only. No Checks, No Cashier Checks,NO W-U !!!, No shipment of truck anywhere until we are confident that the money is 100% clear and legit. If you have a feedback score of less than 100% or no buyer history please don't bother bidding as they will be deleted. We have already lost our father, I'll be damned if someone tries scamming me on this truck.
