Chevrolet C-10 1971 Description

BEAUTIFUL 15 MONTH RESTORATION PROJECT

1971 C-10 CUSTOM CAB SHORTBED

OK, guys here's your chance to purchase an absolutely beautiful 1971 C-10. I built this truck to keep for myself but I've got several other irons in the fire so someone is going to get a super slick truck. I have receipts on pretty much the entire build but I own a diesel and specialty truck shop so hours and hours of labor and parts were written off to other projects so my wife wouldn't kill me! That being said I put roughly 4,000 miles on the trucks' drivetrain as a shop truck before any real restoration ever started. The truck is 100% solid original Arizona truck which I purchased from a family dispersal after a fathers passing. It retains original GM bedsides, floor pans, tailgate, bed floor, rockers, hood, and fenders! She's all steel which is so much better than these aftermarket parts we are all building these cars out of today! The truck was born an (LS9) 350 automatic with power steering, brakes, A/C, factory tach and tilt wheel. Code 520 yellow with black interior.

So 4800 miles ago it got a GM performance crate engine (installed by the previous owner) part number 12499529, 290 HP/350 cubic inch 4 bolt main long block, on top of that we added an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake, 650 Edelbrock carb with electric choke, stainless block hugger headers, brand new flow master 40 series mufflers, new full exhaust, HEI ignition, obviously all the belts, hoses, aluminum valve covers with matching air cleaner, radiator, all new A/c components, completely rebuilt 400 turbo and 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. Front disc brakes, hoses, ball joints, tie rods, etc.

In the last two months truck got completely broken down for paint and detail work, as stated before the panels are original, and as we all know the prep before the paint is what makes them slick! My guys with more than 30 years collision experience primed and blocked this truck 3 full times in pieces to make it super straight, then it got 3 coats of Sikkens base, 2 coats of clear, cured about 14 days then wet sanded and buffed to pretty much perfection. Obviously we added the "Deluxe" two tone option. Every piece of trim on the truck is new from LMC truck. Including bumpers front and rear, bumper brackets, upper and lower side trim, tail light surrounds, tailgate handle, cab back trim, door handles, mirrors, inside door cranks, window cranks, exterior embles, tail lights, headlights, grill, grill surround, weather stripping, windshield, back glass, door felts, hood bumpers, tail gate bumpers, carpet, seat vinyl and foam, auto sound digital stereo, speakers, gas tank, fuel sending unit, stainless bed bolts, cab sill plates, door panels, dash pad,GEEZE kinda making myself sick thinking about this! Anyway you get the picture, if it needed it....it got more!

Truck has a perfect stance in my opinion, brand new 18x9 moto metal chrome wheels, new Goodyear Eagle 225/60/18's, 2" drop in the front 3 out back, and all new Monroe shocks. This is a truck you absolutely can drive! It sounds great, drives down the road straight at 65 and purrs like a kitten. Runs great on pump gas, cold a/c, NO rattles, silly noises, etc. The truck is virtually new from front to back, beautiful color and can be enjoyed and these c-10's aren't going anywhere in value but up! I thought I'd have the truck done for the Kansas City Mecum car auction but I told my guys NOT to rush putting it back together because I wanted the truck right! Average auction prices on these trucks in this condition are 30-40k and I would rate this truck in the upper tier. That being said, I'm not paying commission, transportation costs, or spending time on the road to sell it so this truck is for sale!

I can help buyers with transport quotes nationwide and I'm happy to sell outside to US if you can set that up as well. You will not be disappointed in this truck!I also have more pics underneath the truck up on the lift if you want them emailed to or I'd be happy to do a Facetime video as well.

If you're a serious buyer with any questions call Jasen at 573-680-3097. Don't wait on the auction, call now! we sell 99% of our trucks before the auction ends!
