Chevrolet Suburban 1987 Description
Ok so here it goes:Found this Suburban at an estate auction. It has 47,890 miles on it. Have original title from original owner. The truck has been sitting for years in a garage, due to owner being sick. It has ZERO RUST. Rockers, doors etc.., are extremely clean. It has the 5.7 liter motor with automatic transmission. The interior is a 9. Clean, no odors, dash is impeccable. Seats have no rips, tears, stains. Dash cluster works 100%. The exterior has some paint chips along sides but no dings. There is one scrape along driver side rear (see pic). All trim is intact. Truck has original rims (Not Repainted) with original stampings on them. Has the original "Dog Dish" center hubcaps, no dents, no dings. Original Am/Fm radio, that works. Front bumper is flawless, rear bumper has two little dings in it. AC/HEAT WORKS STILL! Has original dealer emblems on front grill and rear tailgate. Power rear window functions with key and with switch on dash. Driver window has original GM sticker still intact. The owner was meticulous with paperwork, all brochures, build sticker, warranty info, owners manual, service records, window sticker, Under coating and paint warranty paperwork, original key tag from dealer. The title reads 18 miles from 1987. You name it, it's in there. There is handwritten notes from when he was shopping for the vehicle and what dealers had which vehicle with what options. It's actually amazing how much paperwork there is. IT IS 100% ORIGINAL. Paint is good, not show quality, but was there any GM paint in 1987 that was show quality from the factory? This truck is 30 years old with 47,890 miles on it, roughly 1500 miles a year. I towed it back to my garage. Changed the fluids. Cranked it over and it started right up. It idles a little high but that's it. Might need IAC valve. Don't know. Drove it around, runs great, stops perfectly, no pulling. Has all new tires on it. I'm selling it AS/IS. I have done nothing to it besides changing the fluids. I think you would be hard pressed to find another one like it with such low miles, zero rust and a clean interior. On May-23-17 at 04:41:04 PDT, seller added the following information:Probably could use a good once over........Caps, Plugs, wires, etc...... I have not done any of these things. If anyone would like anymore pictures please email me. Thank you!
