Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1977 Description
1977 Chevy Monte Carlo Project/Or PartsI started on this project with the thought of finishing it to be a daily driver, Not a ground up restoration but with a recent heart attack and bypass operation, followed by a stroke that messed me up pretty good, and then I fell and broke my neck. ( At 75 years old reality and my wife have brought me to my senses and I have come to the conclusion that I will never finish this project.)
I have a lot of the hard work done and ready for primer and paint. I fixed around the rear window where the vinyl top leaked. (the window is out and needs to be reinstalled.
I bought a lot of new parts that go with the car. New dash pad, new side door window wipers ( these weren't cheap and were hard to find. Some interior parts are new.
This car is partially apart and needs to be put back together. All the parts are there It runs and has a strong 305 in i, transmission is good.
The trim is all there but will need to be reinstalled. I saved the landau vinyl to use as a pattern.
Needs tires but has the rally wheels. If I would have bought tires they would have been white walls cause I am partial to them. and they are plentiful and cheap on ebay right now.
Floorboards are repaired (not replaced)
I have owned this car for about 35 years and fondly remember cruising around and turning heads, this was a Florida car.
Finish this car or part it out and sell the pieces on ebay and make a ton, parts for these cars keep going up and up.
You will have to bring a trailer and I can assist in helping you load it up.
