Chevrolet Impala 1964 Description

1964 Impala SS Convertible
Up for auction is one of the baddest 64s around! There are not many out there finished like this one.
This Pro Touring Super Sport convertible received a 4 year rotisserie nut and bolt restoration that was just completed. No expense was spared in this build and it shows.
All high end parts. Nothing overlooked. Well over a $100k invested.
This car has new everything. It features Power steering, ower Brakes, wheel disc, ir ride suspension, C, ower Top, nd more! This was a very solid car to start with and retains most all its original metal. It has original trunk, loors, races, ody mounts etc. While the car was on the rotisserie it was coated in a multi step sounddeaden-erand heat barrier inside and out. This really makes a difference with road noise and heat.
This car is straight as an arrow! lots and lots of time and money spent on the body and paint. It takes a lot to make a black car look this good. Super slick black paint with lots of depth. Paint and body were done by pros. Hundreds and hundreds of hours in body and paint alone.
You can look at the panel fitment and gaps and tell that this car was done right!
The frame was blasted, he slag and rough edges were ground smooth, nd then it was powdercoated gloss black. The frame is slick!
The brightwork on the car has all been completely restored and came out beautiful. All the chrome was triple chrome plated. The stainless was all straightened and show polished. The grill was chrome plated. The side moldings are new and are super nice (we went through 5 sets before getting a perfect set).
New emblems, lass, ll seals, eather stripping, ezels, nobs, witches, ardware, tc etc etc. Its all new, very piece of the car! And well puttogether.
The underside of the car was nicely detailed and looks awesome. Everything is powercoated, ainted, r polished. Not a single clip, crew or bolt was left untouched. No bolts or hardware were painted over. Everything was painted or powdercoated apart and then assembled.
Under the hood you will find that no expense was spared here either! The firewall is completely shaved and looks awesome. All stainless hardware used through the engine compartment. It has a Newport engineering Cleanwipe wiper setup. Ringerbrother billet hood hinges with gas shocks were used and look killer and operate very smoothly.
The radiator support was powdercoated gloss black, long with the wheel wells, nside and out.
The motor is a brand new crate 350 that has been very nicely dressed. It features Billet Specialties streamline valve covers and air cleaner that have been shot is bright red base / clear, long with the block. A full billet serpentine setup was used. The intake is a chrome Edelbrock Endurashine. It has Billet Specialties Chevrolet scripted breathers, long with billet specialties valve cover studs. Billet wire loom. It has a polished Demon smooth body carburetor. Its cooled with a BeCool radiator with a dual electric fan shroud setup.
The motor breaths through a set of stainless block hugger headers. It has flowmaster exhaust and sounds great.
The trans is a TH350 three speed auto that has been built with a mild shiftkit. It works perfectly. It was also shot in red base / clear before being installed in the car.
The car runs very nice. It starts effortlessly, dles smooth, uns cool, nd maintains good oil pressure. The motor is still under warranty.
The interior of the car is extremely nice. This is not a kit ordered from a catalog. Everythingis new and all high quality materials used. It was all professionally done and it shows. The interior is tastefully done and very similar to the factory 64 SS interior, ut finished with streetrod quality. The trunk was upholstered to match and has engine turned SS trim accents.
Ididit chrome tilt column and a Billet Specialties steering wheel. It has a Retrosound radio that looks very nice in the car and has a Aux input for your phone.
The car has a Vintage Air Gen IV setup that works with the factory controls. The AC lines from the compressor are routed out if sight to keep the firewall nice and clean. The air blows ice cold!
The top is black canvas. It has a new motor, ew lines, nd new cylinders. New top latches and strikers. The top goes up and down nicely and closes and latches good.
The car has a completely new Painless wiring harness.
The dash was completely restored and has Dakota Digital VHX gauges.
The car has a four corner air ride suspension that is fully adjustable. All quality components were used. It has an Accuair controller to control your ride height. All the air ridecomponentsare hidden in the trunk.
Tubular upper and lower control arms front and rear that are all powder coated and have poly bushings. The rear has a custom Y link wishbone setup.
The car has a bad ass Willwood brake setup. They are 6 piston 4 wheel disc with polished calipers, piece rotors, ross drilled and slotted.
The wheels are custom built American made Esajian 2 piece Billets 20x8.5 in the front and 22x10 in the rear. They are polished with brushed centers. They are wrapped in new z rated rubber.
This is very nice car! I have not seen another 64 that looks this good. Every single piece of the entire car is new, efinished, r rebuilt and done to high standards. This is a high end build that could not be duplicated for what you can own the car for.
If you are seriously interested, all me. The car can be yours today.
The car runs and dives great. Everything is nice and tight. It has had under 20 break in miles since completion. Its fresh, nd ready for a new owner to enjoy! It has never been to a show or been seen out yet. You can be the first to cruise it.
