Chevrolet Chevelle 1964 Description
Custom Chevelle Injected ls6 resto mod pro touring project
For sale is an amazing 1964 Chevelle Pro touring project car that is near complete with all theheavy time consuming work being done!
If you are looking to build a high end LS6 show car, this one will save you years and over half of what it would cost to build from the start.
To buy a straight 100% rust free Chevelle and the parts on this car would cost well more than I am selling this for, not to mention the years of labor, fab work, Body/paint, etc...
This car has been a multi year project with little expense spared.
The Cell phonepictures posted here do this car no justice at all but they are all that I have.
Iregret havingto sell this car as I have spent over 3 years building it and have spent over $50,000.00on the car, parts and paint alone (not including anylabor), but unfortunately have no choice.
I will do my best to list all that has been done to the car as well as list what parts are included with it...
This is a full frame off build with most parts on it being new

Drivetrain
Z06 Corvette LS6 that had 28000 miles on it prior to being built for a professional drift car. The engine was used 1 time and the driver did not like the power to weight ratio and sold the engine to me. The builder of this engine did not Dyno test but estimates the horsepower at 510-550 and says with just a few mods could peak at over 600HP. The engine has less than 5 hours on it and I have heard it run but it does not fire in this car yet. The engine had Marvel mystery oil put in cylinders when removed and turns over with ease. The engine has had the troublesome unnecessary sensors removed and been re wired for an MEFI harness. I do not have a harness yet. The engine comes complete with MEFI harness plugs, coil packs, throttle body, fuel rails, BBK intake, polished water pump, pulleys, etc... No exhaust yet. All necessary fab work, mounting and oil pan have been done.
The engine is mounted with custom made billet engine mounts just installedfor weight before fitment andpaintso the dog ears are only tacked in for mock up. The engine will have to come back out so that the dog ears can be welded as well as installing the newoil pump pick up needed for the new oil panand thetorque converter. (I was not planning on leaving the engine and trans in the car, I only installed for mock up but am now forced to sell the car.)
The car is a factory 4 speed car, the pedals and tunnel are still there for this but I wanted an automatic so the car is currently equipped with a 4L60E mounted to a custom G-Force cross member with cutouts for the exhaust. I was going to use a lokar shifter to keep the factory 4 speed look.
Interior-
Completely covered in dynamat - Floors, roof, trunk, package tray, etc..
Factory front buckets and rear bench seat in excellent original condition.
New carpet
New sail panels (in box)
New dash pad
Misc. window cranks, knobs and switches
New front door panels (in box) no rears yet
New gauge carrier with VHX Dakota digital gauges (installed/not wired)
Exterior-
Beautiful body and paint.
The body and paint was completed 5 weeks ago by Sal's auto works and looks great. The car was completely disassembled, hood, deck lid, doors, everything prior to paint and is painted top, bottom, inside and out. No dry spots or overspray.
There are several subtle body modifications to include- Shaved rear tail lights recessed to look factory (using a factory deck lid for the modification to minimize filler), shaved marker lights, antenna, moldings, key holes, rain seams and lower body seams. Everything is welded solid to insure very little filler and no cracking issues) the firewall has been smoothed and painted as well as the inner fenders.
The car has been lightly wet sanded and buffed but it has not had a deep final buff (other than the hood) as I wanted to wait until final assembly was complete in case of any needed touch up. Most would say it looks done but I am very picky about paint and this car still shows some minororange peel. There is one small spot on the inside of the left front fender that I do not like and was going to have fixed at final buff and touch up. Ant needed touch up will be easy to match. The car is painted in Chrysler White paint code PW7
Included items- front and rear bumpers (if you do not want to do any fab work you will need a 65 bumper for tail lights as this car has none after being modified) Complete front grill kit with headlight bezels, eyebrow moldings, hood trim. All window tracks and regulators, stainless trim plus extra (not polished yet)
The car still needs- Glass, fuel pump system, radiator, brakes completed, MEFI Engine harness, several small misc items, exhaust and final fitment adjustments that I never do until all of the weight is on the car.
Please no insulting low balls because the car is not done. If you paid someone to get a car to this point for you it would be more than double. This car is a very easy one to complete and is easily an 80k+ car if completed properly and won’t cost much to finish.
This car clearly is not complete and will be sold as-is
As I stated, my intentions were NOT to sell this car incomplete. That said, there are a few areas that will need to be addressed due to assembling the car to this point so that it is shippable.
The core support is not completed to show quality. It has been smoothed and modified but for a show quality look will need to be completed because I was not done with it yet and had to install it so I could mount the fenders etc.. (it is very close to smooth but currently cover in rattle can so it could be installed and not rust.)This will be easy to do when you pull the engine. The front fenders have been lined up and then pin drilled for easy re assembly.
The gauge carrier will be easier to finish if removed (5 screws)
Please bid with confidence and check my feedback. I have sold several cars on eBay and off eBay and have NEVER had an unhappy buyer! You can look up some of the cars that I have built as well as see build photos on my facebook page. coe customs.
I absolutely hate selling this car undone for a couple reasons. First – I will get nowhere near what this car would be worth if the engine was plumbed, wired and running and I completely understand that, but more importantly I want to see this car completed because I have years of labor in it.
I know that “Trust” is a big word and a thing of the past, but you can trust that this engine does run and runs well. I have the programmed computer for it and it has been stored properly.
Please call for details or feel free to come inspect the car prior to bidding. I will be glad to discuss any details in efforts of making sure that you are a happy buyer and do not have any surprises.
