This is a street-driven '67 Dodge Coronet R/T that recently received a drivetrain upgrade in the form of a Ray Barton 528 cubic inch HEMI V8. This street Hemi dynoed on the stand at 809 horsepower. It is a BEAST. Installed in the R/T it still should be at least 700+ hp. This is a car that can be driven to the local car shows or any drag strip even and do very well. The car is owned by a local gentlemanwho did extensive research before choosing to purchase his engine from Ray Barton.the owner usually builds his own engines, but wanted this 528 to be just right. He worked with Barton to come up with this great power plant. They worked together on cam and head specs and discussed the Stage 5 aluminum heads and much more.
Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
The radiator is a custom design and was made by Griffin with programable dual thermostats and dual high volume fans. The first one kicks in at 150 degrees and the second at 190. They can of course be set wherever you want.
The heart of this Coronet R/T is a Ray Barton Racing Engines Street 528 cubic inch HEMI V8. We have a stack of receipts for the work performed to tis car. It has not been driven many miles since completion of the upgrades. This is a Born 440 R/T car, not an original 426 HEMI car. It breathes through Tti exhaust, long tube headers to a free-flowing 3-inch system that sounds EXCELLENT. Be sure to play the video.
Having built many a Mopar engine himself, our seller has this car tuned to perfection. He has paperwork for all components of the car. He searched for a long time for just the right car. He wanted a real R/T that was an original 440 car but not matching numbers. He wanted one that was not a rust bucket and needed very little work cosmetically. He finally found the perfect car.
The paint and body are very nice. This is a straight Mopar. The paint condition is very good, with a deep shine throughout the professional paint job. This is not a perfect car, but a car that can be driven and shown. There is no radio and the antenna is missing. Who needs a radio with a HEMI like this under the hood?
The original trim identification plate is in place. This is a born 440 R/T car that came from the factory in solid black with black-accented white interior.
The interior features original components along with updated gauges & shifter. We do have the factory gauge cluster that is included with the car.
The white factory upholstery is in great shape throughout.
This stance is thanks to polished 17-inch American Racing Wheels fitted with B.F. Goodrich G-Force radials all around, slightly wider in the rear. The owner also has the original factory wheels which are in need of restoration. He will discuss selling those for anyone interested.
The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the correct trunk mat.
The undercarriage is in excellent condition. Note the rebuilt suspension, Tti exhaust system, and more. You can see the custom stainless fuel tank which was built to fit where the original tank was. Our seller did not want a fuel cell in the trunk.

You can also see the 8 1/2 quart racing oil pan. New sub frame connectors were added for extra strength. They also happen to hide the fuel lines for a cleaner look underneath.

In the front, there are adjustable strut rods as well as new tubular upper control rods, also adjustable.

A great deal of thought and research went into making this an incredible car to drive. I am sure we may have missed something, but we will be happy to answer any questions.

Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions. This is your opportunity to own a very unique and powerful 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 528 HEMI.
