Dodge Coronet 1967 Description
This listing is for a 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 440, 727 Torqueflite with a 3:23 Sure Grip and power disc front brakes. This is as close to factory as I could get it, and much more so than how you find them - date correct everything. This is a factory original and hard to find BB1 Black R/T with red interior, this is quite possibly one of the most beautiful color combos ever ordered. This is also a quite rare factory power window R/Tas well and has the console with tach and bucket seats. It has the correct bias ply polyglass 14 x 7.75 red walls and complete jack assembly.
This car has just undergone a complete and lengthy restoration, complete body, drive line, interior, full suspensionand paint. This car was taken down to every last nut & bolt and completely restored, attention to detail on every piece of this car was well paid. Every inch of this car is rock solid with no rust or rot, straight as an arrow and runs & drives like a brand new car. The 440 is a slight build with a purple street / strip cam. The 727 is a new build as is the rear end. Every line, hose and wires has been replaced and/or restored (mostly all replaced - the wire harnesses are original and restored to new)
The Coronet is the car that launched Dodge's "R/T" onto the scene in 1967, this is the first of many Mopars to carry the R/T badge and thehigh performanceRoad and Track package - this car wears it proud and earns it ;) This car is NO slouch, at over 30 mph this car will come out sideways if you want it to and if you're able to get those little bais ply tires to hook up, this car will set you right back in your seat. - I was trying to keep this car as factory as I could, this is the reason for the skinny red walls, I'm sure the new owner will want to put something a bit meatier under this car, but is pretty sharp as it sits.
The one thing that was not replaced or restored on this car is the seat belt set, I do have the original set and will include it, but they are not in the nicest condition - I did not want to try to clean them up and install something in this car that was not perfect looking into the new interior. Time constraints on the completion of this car did not allow for me to scare up a mint set.
I have many many more of pictures of this car, many during the full restoration - kind of a storybook of the resto if you will.. as well as many other pictures of the car as it sits now. But I am limited as to the number of pictures I can add to this listing. If able, I would highly suggest coming and viewing this car in person if at all possible, it will not disappoint and seeing this beauty in person really speaks for itself.
If you have any questions about this car and I have not covered it here, please feel free to write me with any and all questions, as well as please feel free to view the car in person if able.
Delivery of this car is possible for a fee, contact me with your location for a delivery quote. World Wide shipping is available as well, arrangements with your county's shipper are to be made from your end.
