Dodge Coronet 1965 Description

Selling my 1965 Dodge Coronet Station wagon. I bought this wagon from an older gentleman whom owned it for over 20 years to build a drag wagon, ut have since picked up another car, o this one is going up for sale. Fun little driver that was enjoyable cruiser my best friend and I enjoyed cruising in, ow moving onto another project. Mechanically in good condition. Poly motor 318 runs nice and had a partial tune up done. Automatic transmission shifts fine and is optioned with the 8 3/4 rearend. Older tires will probably need to be replaced eventually, till good for local driving and comes with a spare tire. Handles decently and had front wheel bearing replaced and brakes checked. Power steering makes for easy driving and parking. With a little tlc, ould be a great road trip car. The pervious owner had done some interesting upgrades when they had it. Exterior paint is driver quality and redone in a burgundy metallic. Has scratches, icks, revious repairs to pass fender and the clear coat on roof has started to peel off. Wagon still looks nice and always got nice compliments when we cruised it around. Bumpers are nice and the glass is good too. Tailgate rear window works slowly, ight need connectors cleaned. Grill was polished but needs some work or replaced. Body is pretty nice with minor rust starting on driver side floor pan (a few inches, ot a big hole, small spot in the rear trunk spare tire well and starting bubble a little on top of rear wheel well. Rest of the floor pan, rame rails, enders, uarters, ailgate, oof, owl, nner fenders, oors and hood look to have no rust. Interior is decent but showing it's age. Seats are comfy and good for long trips. Headliner and door panels were redone and look ok. Dash is decent and has am/fm cassette radio in good working condition. Dash light does not work and Fuses were not blown, o it could be that the dash light need to be replaced, ut not entirely sure. Rest of the light work great, ncluding the taillights, eadlights and turn signals. This will be a fun muscle car wagon style ride for someone to enjoy and upgrade, ust wish I had room to keep it with my collection .
