Dodge Coronet 1950 Description
This old car belonged to my friends father. Its the first car I ever knew in 1982. My friends dad daily drove it for 2 decades and my friend drove it a 3rd decade. In the late 90's they put it instorageand I pulled it out 20 years later. There are many hand written noted from the eighties about how to operate the vehicle and requests to the mechanics for upkeep. The car was very wellknown in the bay area as my friend drove it to parties and concerts for years. When old Ray came back with the car painted up like a cuban taxi in 1985 the collective neighborhood family of friends went bonkers. I got the coronet to turn over but not fire. I believe the points are the culprit. Myfriends dad had this car for so many years and one day hecame home withracing stripesand the top painted yellow, ou could imagine our shock when hepulled up for the first time in the jazzed up dodge. It was truly beyond belief as my friends dad looked as old as the hills and came back with this hot paint job on the car. This car will needplenty of mechanical work and some floor patches. It has so much charm thatyou will love it like the last owners did for 36 years. harris
