Dodge Charger 1969 Description

I have for sale my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440, 4-speed car that came from the factory with the Spring of 1969 only, low production F6 bright green paint. I have several hundred hours of labor into this car already as it was undergoing a full rotisserie restoration. The car has had new quarter panels installed as well as a new center trunk pan. The entire body was stripped and blasted to bare metal. As it currently sits in black primer, this car DOES NOT have a single ounce of body filler or bondo on it. Therefore, the is nothing hiding on this car. What you see is what you’re going to get without any rusty surprises that someone smeared bondo over. This car still needs plenty of work but all the hard work of rust repair and body panel replacement is done. In the rear, the car has had the leaf springs relocated inboard with mini-tubs to allow for some big rubber in the back. It also spent some time on the drag strip in its former life and has a six-point roll cage installed. I couldn’t make up my mind as to whether I was going to leave it in the car or remove it. So, it’ll be up to the new owner to make that decision now. It can be left for a killer pro-street look or easily removed. The original engine, transmission and fender tag are long gone. However, minus the drivetrain this car is largely complete. There will be an odd item or two missing no doubt but certainly the majority of the parts are here. I’ve owned this car for about five (5) years and I hate to see it go but I’ve got other projects that demand my time. If you are looking to buy a legitimate 4-speed R/T project car, this one might be exactly what you are look for. Again, there will be no hidden surprises on this car because it doesn’t have any body filler on it yet. Not only is this car a real R/T in a very desirable color, but you’ll save tons of money by not needing to replace quarter panels, floor pans, trunk floor, roof skin, valances, valance corners, filler deck panel or rusty window channels. At the photobucket site, you will find over 1000 pics of this car from the time I bought it and throughout the time it was on the rotisserie until now. There are multiple pics of just about every square inch of the car. The wheels and tires on the car ARE NOT INCLUDED in this auction. It will be sold with a set of roller wheels and tires. The car will roll and steer making it easy to find a transporter. The rear end under the car is an 8.75” that I had laying around the shop. I threw it under the car to make it a roller but it does not have a center section in it. I have a clean Oklahoma title for this car in my name. Please, look at all the provided pics at the link below before bidding. The pics are very representative of the cars condition and you’ll see the amount and quality of work that has already been done to the car.

Please, ask all questions prior to bidding. Thank you.

There are an additional 1000 plus pics of the car at the following link:

PAYMENT INFORMATION: The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $1000 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be used if discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, please do not bid until you have discussed options with me. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of the auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit ONLY) and an electronic funds transfer for the balance. I will not accept PayPal for payment of the balance except under special circumstances that must be agreed on prior to bidding. I’ll accept other forms of payment such as certified bank check or cashier’s check for the balance, but all funds must clear my bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car.

ZERO (0) FEEDBACK AND NON-U.S. BIDDERS: If you are a zero (0) feedback bidder or a non-U.S. bidder you MUST contact me before bidding. I will cancel the bid of any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder that does not contact me prior to bidding. I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions.

BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message.
