Dodge Dart 1964 Description

Here is almost a once in a lifetime opportunity. Up for auction is an unique beautiful antique car. It is a 1964 Dodge Dart 270 convertible. It has a push button automatice transmission and a slant 6 226 engine. Most things have been redone on this car and it is beautiful and a beautiful running machine. It has a rebuilt motor (has about 10000 miles on it). new exhaust system. new battery. new power steering pressure hose. four new radial tires. new paint (original metalic green). new brakes (I spent over $600 lasy year on brakes - new shoes. all new wheel cyliners. all new hoses. lines. master cylinder. new emergency brake cable. etc. ) I have owned the car for about 14 years and have gradually had the work done. This is a drive away. drive anywhere vehicle. I have driven to Ft. Bragg. N. C. & other places in the vehcile. The odometer shows 142000 miles. but most of those were before I got the car 14 years ago. As I said. most things have been red9onne. It also replaced seat covers and floor mat. The only things that I know wrong are that panel lights and original Dart radio do not work (probably a fuse). the left tailight lens is cracked. carburator needs a spring (runs fine after warmed up) and small hole in top behind drivers side. No warranties come with the car. Will be buyers responsibility to arrange transportation of the vehicle. I have lsited this car a few days ago but found that I had listed it in the wrong category. So. I am going at it again with this listing. I have been told by 2 mechanics thatt he carburator problem is simply a choke spring problem. As this point. i have not located one. On May-02-15 at 08:23:37 PDT. seller added the following information:I have a 1964 Dodge technical manual that will come with the car.
