Dodge Dart 1973 Description
1973 Dodge Dart Custom 4 door sedan, bit over 65,000 actual miles. Slant 6, utomatic. Has power steering and power front disc brakes. Factory Air, nd AM Radio. This car is all original. The paint, nterior, inyl top in way above average condition. The interior is one of the strong points. All original seats, arpet, eadliner, ll in above condition, ee pics. The dash is outstanding with no cracks and has the gauge package. AM radio works good. Has factory air and still works. The heater will run you out of it. All the glass is above average too. The rear package deck is excellent. Seats are not torn. Passenger carpet in front has a small tear. It's covered by the floor mat. Not terrible, ut there.
The body sports all original paint. I polished it out and really is nice. It does have a few chips in the paint here and there. The passenger door has had a scuffle with a garage. The elderly owner was backing out and got too close. I haven't repaired because the paint would never match and this car is a survivor. There is also an issue with the body on the driver side rear down by the marker light. Not too bad. The car is straight and solid. The white vinyl top is perfect. All the glass is awesome. Im being more critical than I should. The car is really nice.
Mechanically there has been a new starter, uel pump, nd alternator installed. I think the carb was rebuilt too. It runs and drives very well. The tires are good but the front ones are a bit worn on the inside. There was some suspension work. Not all. Have receipt. The wheel covers are perfect. All lights and signals work fine.
This car was bought new in 1973 in Fremont Nebraska. Shortly after that the lady moved to Arizona. The car remained there garage all these years. It returned to Fremont Ne a year or so ago. So basically this car has never seen snow or harmful street chemicals.
To sum it up this is a true all original car that runs and drives great. Perfect for the budget minded Mopar fan. This car, ven with it's issues, ould be a wonderful weekend show and shine car. I get just as many thumbs up in this car as I get in my Hemi Roadrunner! I did not do any repainting on this because it's so original. I love original cars, ecause they're only original once!
This car is sold as is. Have the car inspected. Come see it if you can. The sale is final. To address a few questions on my car. There are no rust issues with this car. This is the most solid Dart around. There is no bondo or body panel work ever done to this car. Please refer to the pics of the trunk floor and doors. This was an undercoated car. So there is undercoating under the body. Looks very good. There is some seepage around the transmission pan. I doubt if its ever had a transmission service. Engine is dry with no major leaks. As far as driving it a long distance, would say it would make it if the tires were better. The mileage is actual at 65,9XX. The Ne. title will read "Exempt" from mileage requirements. All Ne titles are like this due to the age. Please check my feedback. I'm a straight shooter. I'm very accurate with my descriptions and my cars I sell. Thanks and keep bidding!
