Dodge Coronet 1973 Description
I bought this car in eastern Maryland almost 5 years ago. At that time it was all green and the odometer showed just over 41000 miles. I can not verify this has not rolled over but based on the condition of the interior and the engine compartmentit suggests the current odometer reading of 51602 is original mileage. I bought it and dropped it off my a local body shop for minor rust repairand to add the silver two/tone paint. The green is still mostly original to the car. The front seat is torn and the rear seat is almost like the day it left the showroom. The rest of the interior is in very good condition. The 318 runs like a 318 shouldstarts with that distinct Mopar starter whine and fires right up. Thetransmission goes into drive easily and shifts through all 3 gears like clockwork. Reverse gear is right where you would expect it to be. Front disk breaks and rear drums work as well. The drive shift needs aU-joint as it clunks when you shiftinto drive and reverse I crawled under the car to verify its just a loose joint and nothing else. The car is very solid underneath. Its hard to belive the car is 42 years old. Itis a definite throw back to the good old days before the dreaded minivan.
I have replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses waterpump alternator transmission oil and filter just to make it a reliable car. The tires are in good codition and can be run as is. The rear bumper has rusted through on each corner from behind but I have metal tape covering it and its barely noticable from any distamnce. I don't think I am going to have much time to enjoy it this summer so it is up for sale. The reserve is low considering the codition and rarity of the car.
The car is sold as is where is with no warranty. When you win the bid you will have two weeksto come get the car and finalize the transaction if this does not happenthe car will be relisted.
I have a NY title in my name ready to be signed over whenthere is cash in my hand. I will not acccept personal checks credit cards or money orders.
The car is available to inspect on person at my home inBrocton NY 14716. There is no plates or insureance on it so unfortunatelytest drives are limited to my driveway.
I have many more pictures and can email them at you request.
