Dodge Charger 1966 Description
The best word to describe this beautiful 1966 Dodge Charger is "sanitary". This car is clean wherever you look. Beautiful paint, stunning interior, detailed engine compartment and trunk and super clean underside. Gorgeous and rare Turbine Bronze (originally light blue) with black front and rear bucket seat interior and automatic console. 361 cubic inch motor, (has 383 emblems on fenders) block casting #2658930, heads casting #4006452, rebuilt 727 automatic transmission, 8 3/4 rear end. New parts include, rebuilt front end, new brakes, drums and wheel cylinders, alternator, fuel pump, water pump, #1406 Edelbrock Carb, 15" Coy's 5 spoke wheels, tires, paint, complete weatherstripping, rechromed bumpers, all new soft trim and interior, rebuilt power steering, dash pad (no cracks), new rocker moldings and other trim as well as restored original trim. This is a super nice running and driving B Body Mopar! Super nice glass all the way around and the windows roll up and down flawlessly. Everything works with the exception of the two outer gauges on the dash which are the gas gauge and the oil/temp/volt gauges, thus the addition of the aftermarket gauges. The speedometer and factory tachometer work great. Flip up hidden headlights also work flawlessly as do all other lights, horn, wiper, heater, etc. Included with the car is a beautiful gauge cluster with uncut radio bezel, original wheels and spinner wheelcovers (in great shape) and original radio. This is the 50th Anniversary of one of the most iconic Mopars ever produced, the Dodge Charger. This would be a great addition to any collection and is thrill to drive. Original Fender Tag is still intact and comes with the original owner's manual. Clear Colorado Title. I have 100 or more photos I can email to you, in addition to photos of the extra parts included. Please email or call with any questions or to request more photos. My number is (719)289-8648. You will be hard pressed to find such an original first year Charger in this condition anywhere! I am selling this awesome '66 Charger for a good friend of mine in the local car club who is not ebay literate. As with all my auctions, this is a NO RESERVE Auction! Please bid to win and only if you have funds to complete the transaction. I can help assist with setting up very reasonable transport of car to it's new home and new owner's expense if so desired. Thanks for looking and good luck!
