This is a really cool wagon that seats 7 people and packs some real muscle.With its distinctiv flat hood,oval chrome bumpers,blacked out vertically splined grill,jacked up rear and the rumbling sound of the big block makes this wagon an instant showstopper.
While the body has been repainted to its original color years ago it still shows presentable.Its panels are straight with nice even gaps.No accident or rust to be found.Beautiful belt line trim ties together the front and the back of the car.Rubberstrip around the chrome bumpers which act asshock absorbers in tight spaces.Theres no rust on the undercarriage,solid floor and rockers.Optional chrome roof rack for the extra luggage.3 way open tailgate,it can be opened with the window up for convenience.Folding rear seats to createa massivecarpeted trunk area that can fit 4x8 panels flat with the tailgate closed.Optional rear air deflector to keep the windnoise down and the exhaust fumes out.The interior is very spacious,with front and back bench seats.Front bench seat has been reupholstered and they look great.The rear seats are original and show some splitting by the seams.Carpet and headliner in great condition.Well preserved original dash and with woodgrain inserts,with typical cracks.Steering column mounted rpm gauge and the other gauges work fine.All lights,turnsignals and horn in working order.Original radio in working order.
Period correct 70's wheels with fairly new tires,and some cool vintage stickers on the rear quarter window reminds us about the end of the muscle car era.To motivate all this steel,-as you sail down the road in your friendly suburban neighborhood-,theres a built 440 Magnum under the hood.The engine was built about 10 years ago and has less then 15k miles on it.It was built by the previous owners dad who had a speedshop.Summit cams,increased compression,new design Holley 800cfm double pumper carb,Doug's Headers and dual magnaflow exhaust makes this engine sound great.Electronic ignition installed for easy engine starts,lesser tune ups and increased reliability.3 speed automatic transmission(tf) with 3500 stall converter.The engine has about 500 hp and its very reliable.No leaks or smoking.9" rear en, posi traction.Brakes were recently overhauled with new booster and they work great.Stops on a dim, no pulling either way,The suspension is tight,newer air shocks in the rear.Rides tight.Factory torsion bar suspension on the front which keeps the nose steady and firm,very not wagon likely.
This car is a blast to drive and will leave many unassuming motorist with their modern car in the dust.Included in the sale are all records,books,including window sticker and some extra parts.
