1948 Dodge2 Door Custom Club Coupe with the optional Fluid Drive offered by Gas Monkey Garage with *** NO RESERVE! ***. This car runs and drives and is in pretty good condition, but it’s far from perfect! While the engine fires right up and powers the 3 speed (on the tree) through the gears with the optional “Fluid Drive” (similar to a torque converter as you can stop in gear) and the brakes and steering seem to do what they’re supposed to, the “cosmetics” are in need of some attention! The exterior has been sprayed a dark blue that while glossy, some would call it a 20 footer as it has what can only be described as major orange peel (don’t let my digital skills with the interweb fool you, the paint ain’t good!). And the interior has a certain “Rat Rod” meets “Mad Max” charm to it that while functional, would certainly benefit from some TLC. Now you could probably correct a lot of the paint issues if you wanted and the interior could be spruced up as well, or you could enjoy it as it is for now and always decide later. Underside photos reveal a fairly solid chassis with superficial rust present on most components and what looks like some rust perforation under the floors(see all pics). While this car does run and drive, no mechanical inspection has been performed (nor will it) to determine completeness or functionality of any system and it should be completely serviced and inspected to ensure safety and reliability prior to any extended driving (due to our filming schedule, we cannot perform any work on this car for you, SOLD AS IS/WHERE IS)!
