Dodge Charger 1971 Description
Classic 1971 Mopar. Dodge Charger SE Has 383 big Block Automatic Transmission, eather Seats Has the Desirable optional Hide a way Headlight (work fine). Car was originally purchased in Merrill WI brand new. and sold twice after that both time in our same small town. The last person who bought it had the Car was restored in the early 1990's They put on about 20 thousand miles before Illness put the car on the back burner. Unfortunatly after a death the car had been sitting for the last 9 years on a concrete floor Garage (Better then a barn find, t was a garage find). It had only been driven once during the last 9 years about 7 years ago and had not been started since, got it and Charged the battery, ut in new gas gave it a shot of gas in the carb, nd it fired right up. Goes down the road great. Steers easily (Power Steering). Has just over 103K Miles. Was painted Candy Apple Red back in the day. Breaks were a little sticky so I put in new Wheel Cylinders. Also looks like new shocks all the way around The only bads are the drivers seat a seam come undone carpet by driver feet needs replaced (rest of carpet looks like new) Back seat and headliner are perfect., bout a quarter size rust bubble by drivers side rear wheel well. Small bubble by trunk, some scratches a lot would buff out with a good detail Vinyl top needs replaced (splits from drying out). Way more goods then bads but I started with the bads as for Goods, tarts, uns smooth no ticks or odd noises, nbsp;lots of power for only having a 2 barrel set up ( i believe with a 4 barrel it is 300 hp and 400 Pounds of thrust) Car looks good. A detail would help a lot. All good Chrome and the Trunk is solid. Starts right up runs out great. Needs a good Detail and would be a great driver as is or take your time over our long winter do a few small things and have a show car come spring. This is not the first car I have sold on ebay so I expect a $500 down payment within 3 days of auction closing. I also do not accept checks, OU's Nigerian Money orders etc etc. I do accept Cash or bank to bank wire transfers. Car has a clean title in my name. Heres your chance to get a nice mopar from one of the last years of power. In 1972 power dropped and in 1973 well forget muscle car performance. You are welcome to come look at the car in beautiful Merrrill Wisconsin 54452 or have your represenative look for you (there are companies out there that offer that service and I would encourage it) Here is your chance to get a nice stylish "Good Years" Mopar at a decent price with a low reserve price. Any questions please feel free to ask 715-571-4739 with in reasonable hours. Thank you and good luckOn Oct-19-15 at 19:30:24 PDT, eller added the following information:As I stated above low reserve. It is set at less then I paid at $8,250 so once it hits that we will have a sale to some lucky person. There is also an extra B Body steering column in the trunk that go with the car. it dont need it this car steers great. I wish my 57 chevy steered this nice. but winner can have it and sell it if they like to recoup a few bucks. Another nice thing is this car has all the original mopar wheels. I also have about 10 new in the box California Dreaming Rear Spoilers in the boxes that if you pick up the car in person you can pick out one for free to go with it. I'm sure there is not a correct one but pretty sure you can find one that would look good if you would like it you can have it.It will be sad to see this car go but I still have plenty of other toys to play with. Good Luck
I was able to decode the fender tag on this car and this is what it came up with
