Dodge Dart 1971 Description

Big power in a small package is always a great recipe for performance, nd few cars do it better than this 1971 Dodge Dart Demon. Freshly built with just 3 miles on the clock (yep, ou read that right), t has been pumped up with a great-running 340, rebuilt TorqueFlite, nd a great paint job that is both subtle and sophisticated. This cool Dart has had a lot of time and money invested to transform it into the gorgeous Demon you see today. 100% rust-free from the start, t was given a full repaint inside and out in the correct GF3 Medium Green by a bunch of guys who clearly knew what they were doing. The finish is dazzling in the sunlight, here the gold undertones of the paint really sparkle, nd correct reproduction Demon graphics and stripes were installed at the same time. Factory hood scoops were part of the package (this is a Chrysler muscle car, fter all), iving it an aggressive look that will have competitors thinking twice about tangling with this Dart. Correct Demon badges were fitted, nd all the chrome and stainless was shined up. There was simply nothing else on the road in 1971 that could compare to a Demon, specially at the price, nd it remains true today. Inside, n all-new two-tone green interior was supplied by Legendary and helps bolster the Demon's no-frills street cred. The two-tone upholstery gives it an upscale look, nd the rubber floor coverings promise zero maintenance. Glancing at the fender tag, his car was just about as stripped as you could get, lthough the original owner did specify an AM radio, hich remains in the dash. Standard equipment included a pretty comprehensive array of gauges, nd an aftermarket A/C setup hangs under the dash, o it looks like it might have been installed by the dealer back in '71. Everything remains in excellent condition, nd it's clear that someone really loved this car. No frills, ut that was entirely the point of the Demon, nd you can easily see how it would be able to catch people unaware. A glance at the fender tag will tell you that this was originally a six-cylinder car, ut today there's a built 340 under the hood, nd it was built to rock. Finished to look highly authentic, he engine wears proper Hemi Orange paint, nd the crinkle finish on the air cleaner and cast aluminum valve covers looks suitably butch. A 4-barrel carburetor feeds the strong-running small block and a set of shorty headers manage exhaust, nd there's nothing like the ripping snarl of a highly-wound small block to attract attention. Underneath, he recent restoration is very apparent, s there's no trace of rust or rot anywhere on the chassis and it's beautifully detailed with new parts everywhere you look. The TorqueFlite automatic was rebuilt and feeds an 8.75-inch rear end. It wears cool 15-inch aluminum wheels that look straight out of the pages of Hot Rod magazine and they wear staggered 205/65/15 front and 225/60/15 rear performance radials. With a new-found emphasis on performance and economy, his Demon is the right muscle car for our times. You also won't find a nicer one, ecause someone spent way out of proportion to the sticker price to make this one of the best. Call today!
