Ford Mustang 1972 Description

The 1972 Ford Mustang is a bit of an escape from the first Pony Convertible but it is no less car and far less expensive. The 1971-73 Mustang is a dream to drive and with a 351 2V it has plenty of power to keep you excited when you press the throttle. This 1972 Mustang Convertible is an affordable. great looking driver. We found this Mustang about 2 months ago inside a shed sitting for about a year and needing some love. after just a little brake work. a new convertible top. nbsp;a tune up. new heater core and a couple freeze plugs she is ready for a new home. The engine starts perfectly each time and runs great. The transmission shifts seamlessly through all the gears without any slips or noises. The exterior paint looks amazing from 5 feet and not much worse up close. It is an older restoration paint job from about 15 years ago but looks wonderful and it is perfect for a driver car. There are several areas that have been touched up due to scratches. (Please view video and pictures) The undercarriage has some rust spots in the pans. rear quarters and on the front cross member but nothing out of the ordinary for a 44 year old car. (see video) The interior is great looking. It was also restored about 15 years ago and is holding up nicely. The power convertible top works great and we just had a brand new top installed. It does have factory steel wheels with factory hub caps. If you are in the market for a wonderful Sunday driver or just something to take to local car shows and cruise ins this is the car for you. This isn't a show car so you won't have to worry about parking it in the grocery store parking lot but you will also make every person in the parking lot turn their head.
