Ford Mustang 1969 Description
This is a true 1969 Mach 1 Mustang fastback really a true survivor that's been sitting in a barn for many years. The car needs total restoration if you want to make a show car. I wash it and cleaned it up and it looks really nice. I rebuilt the carburetor. plugs. wires. brakes had been redone. new shocks. I have put over a 500 miles on the car in the last month and it can be driven anywhere in the world. Everything to my knowledge works on the car down to the dome lights and I believe the air works just have not tried it. It purrs like a kitten and I would not be afraid to drive to Europe. Eventually you will need to put a new set of tires but these are ok. Hood is nice needs a little work around the edge real minor or leave it like it is. I have adjusted the hood so it fits fine. Rear passenger quarter has some bondo but I pilled a chunk off and metal is really nice up under cant understand what happened there. drivers side quarter is pretty nice. Both doors have a hole in each at the bottom about the size of a Bo dollar which can be fixed or leave them along and drive like it is but to make a show car I would put new skins but a driver I would haul as like they are. Rockers look and feel super solid. If you pour water in the front windshield vents it does not run in the floor. Trunk is pretty nice and trunk lid needs little attention on lip or just drive it like it is. Bottom is super solid with one small spot of a little rust about 4 x 4 inch spot which is minor and torque plates are solid as hell. This is a power steering. c. disc brakes. 9inch rear end. horn in steering wheel ring car. If you want to build a 100. 00car this would be the one to start out with. If you just want a daily driver and spend no extra money this is the one. Gentlemen took car to have it restored years ago and shop stole his front clip and went out of business but he had another car. I am describing the car as I see it and it's jus my opinion. Please ask all questions before you bid if you have any. I reserve the right to end auction early. This is a true Alabama car and is a super nice car just to drive and my wife and I have gone to 5 cruise inns and we have gotten all the attention. I have almost all the trim and I have put the grill back in. My name is Michael and I'm an be reached 24/7 at 334-457-0894.
